Pontiac - Brand Revival
This teaser campaign advertises the return of Pontiac, which has been discontinued since 2009. The new line of automobiles are electric plug-in vehicles to fit neatly in with GM’s goal to have an all-electric fleet by 2035. The brand caters to those who enjoy the classic look of an automobile while utilizing all of the safety features today’s technology offers. The campaign itself advertises the return of Pontiac rather than the car itself to gain interest and brand recognition before the design is made public. The AR application allows prospective buyers to explore GM’s line of cars and, once it is released, the new Pontiac EV.
